Brief History of GM Sugar
Established on April 26th, 2005, G.M. Sugar Ltd emerged as a private limited company, founded by seasoned entrepreneurs. The company swiftly obtained an Investment License from the Uganda Investments Authority, marking a significant milestone in its growth. In October 2010, G.M. Sugar Ltd underwent a management change, refocusing its efforts on the manufacturing and trading of high-quality sugar and related products within Uganda. Driven by the vision of creating a comprehensive sugar manufacturing complex, G.M. Sugar Ltd has proactively advanced its plans, strategically positioning its implementation in Buikwe District near Jinja, Uganda.
